Gunner
8yr old, 95lb Blue Tick Coon Hound:
Surrendered to a vet in Ohio; he had a skin infection and needed colorectal surgery and his previous owners could not afford his care.
Gunner was neutered and had surgical removal of a rectal tumor 6/17, has fully recovered without complication.
Gunner is house broken, loyal, intelligent and funny, he knows some basic commands and behaves well on leash (most of the time; he sometimes pulls if he catches and wants to follow a scent).
Gunner should have a sizeable fenced yard, also needs to be walked regularly, would prefer to be an only dog and is OK with cats and kids.
Gunner is highly intuitive; he can become anxious when introduced to new experiences, but once he knows his place and feels secure he is calm, obedient, and just stubborn enough the keep things interesting!
Gunner is an all around great companion and loves naps, walks, car rides and to be included; if you are considering adopting an adult dog, Gunner might just be your guy!

All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $350 to $400
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$400
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200 -350
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
