Meet Gump
Meet Gump
Are you looking a class clown, Gump maybe your guys. He's a typical Bulldog, a little goofy & aloof. He didn't get the name Gump because he's brilliant and he cant eat chocolate. But he will keep you entertained.
We think with a routine and structure he will become a great addition to your family.
He doesn't have a lot of dogging time and was a little insecure when first meeting new dogs. He has settled into our shelter and goes well in group play with other dogs now.
Best fit would be with a 4 legged sister.
We do not have him in a home with children now so he will not be placed with children under 12 years old.
He needs a confident dog owner, preferably a bulldog owner who knows the breed. Know your breed https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/bulldog/
His Story; found as a stray in rural city in Texas, digging in the trash. He was placed in a 3 day hold then scheduled for euthanasia . The police dept. reached out to us and we rescued him. His once corked tail looks to have been broken at one time. It's healed just not as corked.
