Gucci American Staffordshire Terrier Smithfield, NC

Hello! My name is Gucci, and I am an affectionate, playful, and curious dog. I love to run around and explore, and I would make a great companion for anyone who loves the outdoors and going on adventures. I am very athletic, and I love to play with toys indoors and outside. I'm also happy to cuddle up and relax with my foster family while they read, or work, or watch tv. I'm fully house trained, and I sleep in my crate every night. My fosters are teaching me some basic commands.
Can you imagine what my life was like before I came to JCAPL? I was used as a breeding dog, and then abandoned by my humans. I can't see out of my left eye, and sometimes children and tall humans startle me; but I like them when I get used to them! Even though I have been through a lot, I still love people and get along with other dogs (not cats though).

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center.
