Guapo Siberian Husky Mix Los Angeles, CA

Meet Guapo! If you couldn't tell from the photos, he absolutely lives up to his name- He is such a handsome boy! We got Guapo off the streets of Mexico and he was extremely malnourished, had almost no hair and a horrible case of mange. Now he is strong, healthy and ready to go to his forever home. He think he is around 2 years old and 55 pounds. He still has to put on a little bit of weight and his hair is still growing in. We have no idea how long his hair will be- it may stay the same or he may grow a ton more and have long fluffy hair.

Guapo is very happy, loves to play and is affectionate. Since Guapo is just learning what living in a home is all about, he needs an adopter who is willing to work hard on training with him. He is still learning manners and isn't quite aware or his big and strong his body is. He is a puller on a leash, and 100% needs someone who is strong enough to walk him because it's not easy! He is very smart and is a quick learner. We think with the help of a trainer and a committed adopter, he will get the hang of things quickly. We think Guapo would do best in a home with either a large confident dog or as an only dog. He has a TON of energy so he needs someone who can give him lots of exercise..
