Guacamole-Chloe aka PUPPY, is doing wonderful. She is 7 months old and 23.8 pounds.

Arrived very skittish, but is completely breaking out of her fears with the help of repetition, such as going thru a doorway, stairs & meeting new people. She loves meeting people now as long as they move their hands slow & get down to her level to give her huggies. 100% potty & crate trained. Cries a little each time she is crated, but stops and sleeps within a few minutes. She does great with my big pups, respectful and plays indepentently with her toys in front of them. She could care less that they are even in the room with her. She has been introduced to our neighbors cats & has very little interest in them. She would be the perfect pup for someone who wants a couch potato. Although she likes a good run, she would much rather snuggle or chew a bone on the couch next to her humans while watching tv. For this reason, she would actually do fine in a home as a solo dog, but would do just as well in a home with another pup. She has discovered her teeth & has learned “leave it” when it comes to grabbing electric cords, toilet paper roll, towels dangling, etc. So although doing great, she is not a pup that should have free-reign until the house is puppy proofed.

She has learned “come” & “leave it” and is working on “sit”, “off” and “stay” commands. Very eager to please. Slowly becoming treat motivated, but would prefer a good hug or kiss.

She DOES SHED. With a slicker brush, tiny stands of hair are coming out. So this is not a shed free/allergy free dog.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

All our dogs have been treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.
