Hi, I'm Groot! I'm a super sweet boy with loads of puppy energy, and I'm looking for an active home where I can burn off all that excitement. I absolutely love attention and will happily greet every person I meet with a wagging tail and plenty of enthusiasm! I'm a total people-pleaser, and I can't wait to find someone who will appreciate all the love I have to give.
Now, I've got something important to share-I've been diagnosed with a heart murmur, and we're currently having our vet evaluate it. Any potential adopter must be aware of this, as it may require some monitoring and care in the future. But don't worry, it doesn't slow me down or stop me from being the goofy, playful pup I am!
I've lived with other dogs before, and I'm definitely dog-friendly. I can be a bit pushy at times, though, so I'm learning to work on my manners and how to get along even better with my furry pals. The shelter staff is helping me meet some new canine friends to see who I get along with best, and we're also testing how I do with cats. I'll be sure to keep you updated on that soon!
Because I'm still young and energetic, I'd definitely benefit from some training to help me become the best dog I can be. I'm excited to learn, and I know I'll thrive in a home where I can continue to grow and get some guidance.
