Once we have received your completed questionnaire someone will be in touch to set up an appointment for you to come in and meet the pet(s) you are interested in. If you have questions prior to completing the questionnaire please email info@clarkshelter.org or call (859)737-0053. Appointments will not be scheduled until the questionnaire is completed. This process can typically be completed the same day or by the next day depending on appointment availability.

Grizzly came to the shelter in extreme condition. She and her siblings had been housed in a small wire crate together with no food or water for an extended period. They were covered in urine and feces and some of them could not even stand on their own because they were so emaciated. Thankfully with a lot of love and TLC the whole bunch pulled through and now that their owner has been held accountable they can be released for adoption.

Grizzly is a playful and happy girl. She is very food driven and wants to please. She loves attention and loves toys. Grizzly will need lots of basic work such as finishing steps to house training and basic obedience. She gets along with other dogs but will need to be separated at feeding time.
