Hello future family. My name is Gringo. I'm 5.5 yrs. old and I have a pretty sad story. My family left me and I ended up in a foster home where I was attacked by four other dogs. But I was brought into this rescue group who has been working hard with me to learn to trust other dogs again. I’m doing so much better! I get along great with female dogs. I should be the only male as I get nervous around other males. I love to play with my foster sisters. I’m such a loving boy! I get along wonderfully with cats. I’d love a laid back home where I can get lots of snuggles. High energy dogs make me very scared and I’ll hide. I need a patient family that will allow me to take my time with introductions to new siblings. I’m very conscientious and listen to my foster mom so well. I’m human-affection motivated, which makes me a fast learner. I am 100% potty trained and can ask politely to go outside if I need to. I’m a perfect family member, as I don’t chew on anything and I’m not destructive at all. I’m kept out while my foster mom is away. I lay down on my bed until she returns. I’m also a perfect angel in the kennel. You’ll often find me in there when I want a treat (that’s where I know I can get a special treat). I LOVE treats and will do Tigger hops in excitement. I just want unconditional love and a good family. Will you be that family for me?
