Meet Gretel
The 50-pound Husky with the heart of a princess and the soul of a couch potato!
At 4 years old, this girl has mastered the art of relaxation—if there was a gold medal for lounging, Gretel would win it paws down. She’s a cuddly companion who’s happiest when she’s nestled into her favorite spot, ready to dole out kisses on request.
Gretel is the ultimate independent yet loving dog. She adores her comfy spaces and isn't shy about letting you know when she’d rather stay put—whether that means giving a little growl if you try to move her from her throne (aka the sofa) or if another dog gets too close to her dinner. But don’t worry, it’s all part of her charming, sassy personality. Gretel’s not one for drama; she’s more of a “you do you, I’ll be over here napping” kind of gal.
When it comes to other dogs, Gretel’s pretty laid-back. She’s not interested in starting any scuffles, but she also appreciates her personal space. If your home has another laid-back dog who’s respectful of her royal boundaries, she’ll be just fine. She hasn’t had much interaction with kids, but she’s never been reactive to people—just give her the love and respect she deserves, and she’ll be your most loyal companion.
Gretel isn’t the type to beg for your attention, but she’ll sit patiently if she’s in the mood for a treat. She’s great on a leash, loves car rides, and is perfectly potty trained.
