Meet Gretel

Gretel will bring so much joy to your home! This spreads love and kisses everywhere she goes. But under one condition: she needs endless amounts of belly rubs. We are serious. She spends pretty much all day on her back demanding belly rubs. So we hope you’re into that. And her wrinkles.
Gretel is house trained. She is working on going in the crate. She goes in willingly almost half the time. But once she is in there, she does great. Gretel is either full of energy or really chill! She’ll always be excited to see you but once she’d had enough play time, she’s happy to cuddle up.
Gretel is in a foster home with another dog, and she likes to stir up trouble. She wants to run and play with him, but she also always wants all the toys to herself. She might be better as an only dog, depending on the household and what their other dog is like!
She is GREAT with kids. They usually oblige to her demands for belly rubs without much convincing, so that explains that. Gretel rarely barks, she will chase squirrels, and she loves toys. She prefers her rubber chew toys and rope toys. She destroys stuffed toys, but will carry around the remnants with pride! Gretel also likes balls, but we haven't found one she won't destroy in a day! She loves to go on walks and she has been working on sitting before crossing the street like a good girl!
This girl is full of life and happiness and we cannot wait to meet her forever family! They will be so lucky to have her!
