Meet Gremmy

Meet Gremlin, affectionately nicknamed Gremmy by her foster family! Gremmy is about three months old and weighs about 6lbs. When she was pulled from the shelter, she was believed to be a Boxer Mix, but her foster family believes she may be mixed with a smaller breed dog, as she continues to stay on the smaller side. As we did not meet Gremmy's parents, her breed and adult size are unknown and can not be guaranteed!

Gremmy came into rescue with three siblings and was about a fourth of the size they were. Her foster family was a little worried that she might have something medical happening within her, but as it turns out, she is a healthy girl, she was just the runt! After some time, lots of love and a LOT of food, Gremmy has blossomed into a healthy, happy puppy!

Gremmy is fostered with adult humans, children, dogs and cats. She is great with everyone in her foster home and, despite her small size, she definitely runs the show! She is getting to an age where she is teething, so she loves to chew on everything, but can easily be redirected to appropriate toys!

Gremmy is not potty trained, but is familiar with sleeping in a crate. As with any puppy, she will need additional work on crate training, potty training and obedience training. Gremmy is super special to her foster family and they can't wait for her to find the best forever home! If that sounds like you, apply today! Gremmy's adoption fee is $400.

All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the dog you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where dogs can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting a dog in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Thanks so much for caring about a needy animal!
