Meet Gray - Gray is one of 9 pups who came to us from a situation where their family became overwhelmed and could no longer care for them. Gray, his mom, and all his siblings joined our pack and are now in search of their own forever homes. Gray can only be described as a bit of a bull in a China shop! He loves rope toys and a good game of tug-o-war! He loves to run and chase the other big dogs in his foster home. He's active, busy, and likes to be in charge. But he's a really good boy and he's learning the ways of life in a happy, regular family - being good in his crate, sitting on command, waiting patiently to be let out each morning, sharing toys with the other dogs, not nipping to get your attention. These are all things puppies learn at a young age, but this crew did not have that luxury. The foster moms who are working with this group of dogs are dedicated and determined and they are so proud of their progress to date! They are a work in progress, but with proper care, nutrition, structure and training, have come so far and they will make great additions to any family. Gray does well with other dogs but likes to be in charge. He does well with children, but we are recommending 10 years and up due to his activity level, and we do not recommend he goes into a home with cats - he likes to snarl at them. Gray will need time to adjust to
new family and new
surroundings.
And as with all new dogs, he will also need someone interested and able to continue his basic training in order to make him the best dog he can be. Looking for a hiking buddy, walking buddy, who's energetic and playful - here's your guy!
