Grandpa Rotini Poodle Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Grandpa Rotini is a complete couch potato. He sleeps most of the day and sleeps all night. He is house trained at his foster home. He especially loves food and soft treats, he is eating a mix of canned and dry food mixed with water. He does not alert for potty breaks, but will get up and start walking in a circle. He loves meandering around the yard and laying in the sun. It takes him a few days to figure out the layout of the house and back yard, so we would recommend going outside with him for the first few weeks. He must have a fenced in yard so he does not wander off, or he will need to be consistently supervised. He is very low energy, sleeps most of the time. He will need to be groomed every so often to keep mats from forming.

He will need to be a completely inside dog as he does not move fast and has failing eye sight. He will require eye drops for the remainder of his life due to extreme dry eye. He can be quite dramatic when getting his eyes cleaned with a wet cotton ball and getting his eye drops in.

He does well with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children!
