Hello everyone, my name is Grandpa Emmett and I’m a whopping 15 years old! But I’m the most lively 15 year old you’ll ever meet! My previous owners didn’t give me the love I deserved and left me tied to a stove all day long with only newspaper covering the floor where I could go to the bathroom. I was also heavily matted and in a great deal of pain. I was so happy when the PAHS team came to rescue me! They gave me a great haircut and I felt so much better and was back to my energetic self! I love to love and will give anyone I meet immediate kisses. Because I wasn’t allowed to roam around in my previous home, I now really enjoy my freedom and love wandering around new spaces and exploring all the smells. I’m 100% deaf and mostly blind, but I still see shadows. I have some separation anxiety and so I really enjoy following my human around and resting on a warm lap. Back scratches are my absolute favorite and, if you’re interested in bringing me home, the shelter team will be more than happy to show you my “sweet spot”!
