3. Ranch/Farm type situation preferred, or home with attached large yard and secure fencing
4. No apartments/Townhouses/condos/rented rooms
5. Home with large attached yard secured 6ft fencing
6. Children over 6 yrs of age okay

Hello! My name is GRACIE! I am a super duper cute little Jack Russell Terrier mix about 5 yrs of age and approx 17 lbs
My foster Mom says I'm a typical JRT! I have TONS of energy, I'm very smart, sweet and loveable too! I love to play with other dogs and I try as hard as I can to get every dog to play with me! I'm very submissive cause I just want to be friends and play with every dog I meet! Some dogs don't appreciate my enthusiasm though, so a doggie friend in my new home should be pretty young, higher energy to keep up with me, friendly and super playful too!
I'm already house trained and crate trained. My foster Mom is helping me learn some basic commands, but I get distracted easily so I need more practice. In JRT fashion, I love to chase the rabbits, squirrels and birds I see around the ranch. I love going out for walks/hikes/runs with my human, and I am pretty good on leash, but if I see critters I'll forget I'm on a leash and I try to take off after them so always have a good grip on the end of my leash! I'm a pretty good fetch player too, but I can get bored quickly with just chasing a ball...I think I would prefer to do something more stimulating like agility. My foster home is a ranch with lots of other dogs and horses... I have a lot of fun there, so I would love if my forever home was to be a ranch/farm situation.
I haven't been around young children, and I can be a bit mouthy when excited, so my Foster Mom says there should be no kids under 8 yrs of age in my new home. If I could choose, my best family would be very active and have lots of time and strong commitment to keep me exercised and stimulated EVERY day. Another higher energy playful dog is definitely a must, It would be best to have experience with JRT and lots of room in the back yard to run and play!
My adoption fee is $350 which includes, health examination, current vaccinations, spay, microchip, flea and deworming treatment along with any other medical or dental deemed necessary by my veterinarian.
