Meet Gracie
Gracie is a healthy, somewhat skittish adult terrier who spent her entire life in a very quiet home with an older couple. She was the center of attention, and when the husband died, and the wife went to a center that didn't allow pets, Gracie was brought to the TLC. Although she is adjusting well, she is really not a happy dog. It is obvious that she missing the love and attention that she received from her humans. She is an amiable, affectionate gal (about 8 years old) who thrives on being close to humans. She loves walks....long walks or short walks. She is an escape artist, so she would need a secure fenced yard where she could safely run and play. She is very shy with new people, but she bonds quickly. Sshe would make an ideal companion for a quiet family with plenty of time to help her heal from her loss of a long-time family.
