Grace Spaniel Mix Greensboro, NC

Grace is a beautiful Spaniel mix who weighs 18 lbs and is almost 1yr old. Grace is leggy and quite tall when she stands on her back legs. Grace could be an only dog or share her home with another dog her size.

Grace is super smart, wants to please and you can see her mind working when she is learning new tricks. She learned the basic commands quickly, but also learned tricks like spin, shake and high-five and could easily learn many more.

She thrives on having her mind challenged and enjoys the enrichment and stimulation that her daily long walks provide. She’d be an excellent agility dog.

She is a great walking/running buddy and can go up to five miles, as long as it is not too warm. Every morning, rain or shine, she is ready for her walk and will not let you miss a day of outdoor exercise. She’s the perfect dog for an active person who wants to connect with her through daily, short trick training sessions and vigorous walks.

Grace has a lot of Cocker Spaniel traits and is initially unsure of new people, particularly men, but will bond quickly with her person. She needs a low-key household and introductions to new people need to be infrequent and go slowly.

If you are looking for a dog that is fun, responsive, attentive, and devoted, Grace is the dog for you! Her foster mom said she’s extremely smart and an absolute delight.

An all adult home (no children or grandchildren) with a securely fenced yard 4ft or higher (fence must be attached to the home) is required to adopt from Hart-2-Heart Rescue.

There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business.

Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Adoption fee is $400.

Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing.
