Meet Gotz

Gotz is about 18#s and came to the shelter at PCACC in lamentable condition. He appeared to have never been groomed in his life, as he was matted to the skin so he had to get a marine haircut. He also had several sores on his skin they are mostly healed. We believe he is around 2-3 years old he is super people friendly and generally ok with most dogs. You can see from the one picture how horrific he was when he was turned into the shelter.  He looks as though he had never been groomed ever.  But he has come so far and is such a sweet boy today.  He so deserves a loving family.
He has lost all of his coat that says he is schnauzer because he was so heavily matted.  It will grow back quickly and in another month of so he will be as cute as any schnauzer. He has natural ears and a docked tail.

Gotz will sometimes think he is as big as any dog so he does best with dogs about his size.
In another foster home he was with a cat and got along just fine.  He ignored the cat and the cat ignored him.  He went on several car trips to visit places in Arizona and did a wonderful job with that.  He loves to ride in the car and he was very well behaved on these outings.

He is a snuggle bug and would like is very own lap for his very own --  Could you be that lap?
Gotz's adoption fee is $225.
