Hi I'm Gordy a 3.5-year-old, 43 lb, Feist/Terrier mix. I am an active dog that LOVES to be with my people. I am very loyal and very affectionate and will follow you around all day. I love to run and exercise. I would make a great companion for a jogger or a biker. If you're not a jogger, I love to go on walks and hikes. I'm good in the house and in the car and with kids. My foster Mom calls me her "Velcro dog" because I always want to sit on her lap. My foster parents have taken me many places and I have been great wherever we go. I love boats and swimming at the lake too.

I like to be the alpha dog so I shouldn't live with another male dog. I don't like dogs that are bigger than me but I would probably be ok with a smaller female dog. I have a very strong prey drive so no cats or small animals for me. I would need a fenced in yard to get out some of my energy. I am very smart and easy to train and I love my treats. Our adoption clinics are at our new facility in Schenectady on John Street, directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. We do NOT accept applications at our clinics, they MUST be filled out online before coming to our adoption events. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $350. Dogs over 2 years old are $250. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
