Gordo is a 3-year-old pittie and is just the handsomest, sweetest boy. We asked our volunteers what their fav thing about Gordo is: "That little blockhead has a funny high-pitch squeal when he’s worked up. It doesn’t match his body at all. When I go in his kennel, he grabs my leash and runs around with it because he knows he’s going for a walk. Once I get his collar on him, he’ll drop the leash. When you bring him back to his kennel, the first thing he does is flop like a seal in his pool." He’s our water-loving, nature boy who deserves the world!!

Gordo has the biggest heart and the sweetest soul. He may look strong and sturdy, but he’s truly a gentle giant who just wants to find someone to love. Gordo can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and time, he warms up and shows his true, loving personality. (It doesn’t take long) Once he trusts you, he’s all in—loyal, affectionate, and ready to be your best friend for life.

Pit bulls like Gordo are known for their deep bonds with their humans, their playful nature, and their incredible loyalty. Gordo is no exception. He loves a good walk, but his favorite thing is playing with his toys and relaxing by your side - soaking up all the love he can get.
