Mond is looking for a FOSTER or FOREVER home
She’s currently in Kawartha Lake area, Ontario

She is shy and generally neutral to people, but she warms up with time. She doesn’t like being touched just yet, but will take treats when she’s in her safe spot in her crate/pen. She’s also very neutral with other dogs as long as they don’t approach too enthusiastically; otherwise, she’s not really interested in them. With proper introductions, she could bond with another dog in the home.

She’s both crate-trained and house-trained. In fact, she loves being in her crate ? She’s also not a barker, has no food or toy possessive issues, and has no destructive behaviours in general. She’s great on leash walking and loves to go on long walks with minimal distractions. She also love to chase squirrels!

Mond has a low-to-medium prey drive for toys: kongs, rubber tugs, and bones. She’s still working on walking in busy environments with passing vehicles as she gets nervous, but she’s learning to overcome her fears ? She likes to go for car rides – it’s a 50/50 chance she’ll jump in the car, but once she’s in, she just sits and enjoys the view ?? Patience will be key to bond with her, and the only way you will gain her trust. If you try to force her to do something, she’ll get frustrated and shut down.

Mond was rescued from a meat farm with her brothers, Silver & Gold. Silver & Gold have found their forever homes.
