Meet Gloria:: ~4 years old, 45 pounds, Spayed Female Border Collie mix.

Available for Adoption!

Gloria is such a sweet girl who just loves people! She gives kisses freely and knows some basic commands and is happy to perform them for a squeak toy or a treat, she also gives high fives on command! Gloria is very intelligent and ready to take on any new learning experiences, she is so fun to teach new tricks and commands!

Gloria does well with calm, male dogs, but she can be a little defensive at first with some female dogs. Gloria has made great progress in her foster home with her foster's other dogs, and gets along well with them.

Gloria is housebroken, very well-mannered in the home, and crates well if needed. She loves long walks, exploring in the woods, or just around the neighborhood. Gloria is still a little timid with small/young children and doesn't quite understand how to interact with them, so a home without small children would be best for her.

$120 Adoption Fee.

All Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue dogs come spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

Along with other criteria evaluated in the application, a fenced yard is required to adopt. Please see our Fenced Yard Requirements tab on our website for more information.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Cincinnati for adult dogs. Please see our Adoption Radius tab on our website for more info.

ADOPTION APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE:

To complete our easy online adoption application:

1. Go to our website at PeppermintPigAnimalRescue.org.

2. Read our ADOPTION PROCESS tab on our website.

3. Read the dog's bio on our website to check for specific requirements to adopt and to see if the energy, personality, size, etc. are the right fit for your family.

4. Complete our online Adoption Application.

5. We will contact you if you are selected for a meet.

All adoption information and applications can be found under the ADOPTION CENTER tab.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
