Glinda is a little female girl who has been through a bit in the last few months. She was left at the shelter by her previous owners but she was way too shy for shelter life, she completely shut down. Glinda is very sweet, but sensitive and shy and needs time to trust. She was born around 12/23 and we believe her to be a shelter/corgi mix, maybe with a touch of aussie. She is beautiful with such soulful eyes. Glinda is 18.2 lbs. She would do best in a quieter home without small children. Once she trusts you she is playful, fun and snuggly, but she is not the type to enjoy huge crowds and lots of strangers. She loves other dogs and wants to play rough, so she can be an only dog or with an equally playful young playmate, she is too much for senior pups.
Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested in may be a candidate for long distance adoption. We may consider long distance adoptions for dogs who have been in our rescue for 6 + months with no local candidates.

This pet is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in. Please note that we put lots of time and effort to make sure our pets are ready to be someone's perfect pet before they go home.... and to make sure that we will have the best possible match for this pet we do require an : application, interview, adoption fee and in some cases a home check.
