Meet Gladys

This gorgeous black beasty comes to PugHearts as an owner surrender.

But for some scabby, flaky skin and a spay, she can be yours.

She's a big girl, at almost 20 pounds, just under 2 years old, very cheerful, seemingly tolerant of all the other pugs here, and is pretty vocal.

She loves to bark her presence known, but then settles nicely when crated.

Gladys is a jumper and is quite springy, so will need some guidance with that.

She loves all the stuffies and thinks they should all live outside.

She has the weirdest dining quirk as well; she won't eat out of a bowl, preferring her nuggies dumped directly on the crate mat or floor.

She is very fearful of bowls, for some odd reason, but nothing else.

She will drink water out of a bowl, however, further adding to her mystique.

This bold, happy girl will make a great family companion.

Special baths and rounds of meds are working to heal her skin.

Her spay is yet to be scheduled.

She should be ready toward the end of October.

Watch for Gladys updates and adventures on the socials as we get to know this lady better.

So far, I like her a lot.
