Meet Gizmo
Gizmo is a 15 year old toy shih tzu that was surrendered to our organization after his 93 year old mom went into a nursing home. We do require the adopters to stay in contact with his very sad mom.
Gizmo is such a cute little guy. He is full of life even though he is losing his vision and hearing. He is not afraid of new surroundings and loves exploring in the backyard when the weather is nice. He spends most of his day napping in his bed or on his favorite blanket. He does not like to be held, but enjoys being next to you. Gizmo would love a forever home that will be patient as he gets used to his new surroundings and develops a routine. He will go on a potty pad once he knows where it is or does well when let outside several times a day. He loves his treats and dinner time. He is good with other calm dogs and cats. He does well in a crate or a small area when left alone.
