My name is Gizmo, or Gizzy as my foster mom calls me. I love running in the yard and jumping any obstacles I can find, but I also like to find a nice place in the sun to chill! I didn't have much to eat in Kentucky, so I'm just getting used to being fed regularly and am no longer surfing the counters for food.

My foster mom says I still have a lot to learn, but I do know "sit" and am more than eager to learn more! There is a debate going as to whether I am an American Foxhound or a Tree Walker Hound. You'll have to see what you think. I would love to find a forever family that is very active because I have a high energy level! I love everyone, including dogs and kids! I might be better with older children, because with my size (56 lbs.) and energy, I might not realize I could knock little ones over. I don't mind going into my crate at all and find it a great time to take a nap! If you're a fun, active family, with a great fenced in yard, I would love to join you!

Adoption Fee: $250 (includes deworming, microchip with free registration, age appropriate vaccinations and spay or neuter). Any donation above the adoption fee is appreciated and helps us continue to rescue dogs.
