Meet Giraffe

Meet Giraffe! Okay, we’ll admit it—her name might be a little misleading. While she doesn’t have a long neck or spots, what she does have is the grace of a gazelle and the heart of a best friend. In fact, we probably should have named her Gazelle, because when she runs and plays, she does the most elegant, ballet-like leaps, like a little four-legged dancer.

Giraffe is 5 months old and a tall, slender sweetheart who will likely grow to be around 35-40 pounds. She has a gentle, loving nature and is always ready to snuggle up after a good play session. Her story started in hardship—she and her three siblings were found abandoned in a bucket in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas—but that hasn’t dimmed her spirit one bit. She’s full of love, joy, and just the right amount of quirkiness to make you smile every day.

The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $620.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm.

Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $75.00)
