He’s still learning that he can’t greet people with his mouth, but he’s been working so hard on keeping his teeth to himself. He gets excited and may still try to grab hands, so he’ll thrive in a home that can be consistent and help him keep practicing his good manners.<br/><br/>Redirecting him is easy — hand him a rope toy or tennis ball and he’s instantly in his happy place. He loves other dogs and does best with confident pups who will let him know when playtime rules need adjusting. (One of his current foster siblings just lets him chomp away… so he’s learning boundaries a little better from the others!) Because of his enthusiastic, chompy, puppyish style, he’s probably not the best match for cats.<br/><br/>Gio is a smart cookie and a quick study. He already knows sit, shake, down, and even trots right into his kennel for mealtime without being asked twice.
