Hi, I’m Ginny! I’m a sweet little puppy who is ready to find her forever home.

I’m a young girl, but my foster mom says I have an old soul. I get the zoomies and love to play but I tire out quickly and then just want to snuggle up with you and take a nap. I have some really fun toys in my foster home that I like to play with, and my foster family is so cool so I like to spend as much time with them as I can.

My foster mom is really patient with me as we learn basic commands. I’m still working on my potty training and am still learning the basics so a forever family needs to be 100% on board with positive reinforcement training with potty training and be ok with the fact that I’m still having accidents in the house at this point.. I like to be around other dogs but since I’m so small, I need a minute to get to know them first. So as long as they’re gentle, I’d do great with another dog in my forever home. I also need a bit to completely warm up to new people so I’d do best in a home with kids over age 5. I do live with cats in my foster home and generally give them space after initially barking at them so I’d do fine in a home with friendly cat buddies!

I also don’t think I’ve had a ton of experience/socialization with all things dog related in general. So things like walking on a leash, being in a kennel, and being left alone are all super new to me right now. So I do need a home with dog experience and just general patience and commitment to positive reinforcement training so I can learn and thrive! I’ve already learned some tricks (sit and stay are my favorites!) and I am so eager to learn!
