This dog is in the care of PetEmber Animal Rescue. A California 501 (c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization.

Story & background of Ginger:

Ginger is a rescue from Bloomington, CA. She was found with her female sibling "Nala (Also posted for adoption)" on a property with many old trailers and motorhomes. On the property, four adult dogs were not Spayed/ Neutered. People on the property said that these dogs belong to different owners on the property. When our volunteers asked the owners about their dogs and the puppies, they said that the dogs keep having puppies every six months and they would like to Spay/Neuter them but they can't afford it. They asked the rescue to help them Spay/Neuter all four adult dogs on the property at the rescue's expense. They also asked the rescue to take possession of the two puppies until they find a home. Immediately, our rescue scheduled the appointments for the adult dogs to be spayed/neutered and then returned them to their owners after operated. In addition, our rescue took possession of the small puppies and sent them to a foster home where they stayed for over 2.5 months until they reached an age where they can be Spayed as a final step before being posted for adoption. The two puppies are exceptionally smart and fast to learn. They are healthy and ready for a forever home. The ideal family for these puppies is a family with children. It is recommended that they live with a family that has another dog the same size (Just to have a companion). Potential adopters should allow some time for any puppy he/she adopts to adjust in his/her new home since the puppies are so attached to their current foster mom and so with other puppies they currently live with. These puppies are outgoing and they adapt fast.

4- Please understand that we receive a lot of emails. It will be appreciated if you wait before sending any email and check the status of the dog on our website. A lot of inquiries take from our time that is dedicated to reviewing adoption applications and it slows our adoption process.

5- If accepted, we will get in contact with you to schedule the meet and greet.

6- If you decide to proceed forward with the adoption at the time of the meet and greet, you will be asked to sign an adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee.

7- Take home will be the same day. All copies of the health record for the dog and the adoption agreement will be handed to you on-site at the time of the adoption.
