Ginger's Story

Meet Ginger! Ginger is an 11-year-old, 70 lb Lab mix with a heart as big as her paws. She’s a gentle senior who adores people of all ages—including kids and toddlers—and she’s a wonderful companion to cats. In fact, she loves kittens, and the feeling is mutual; cats seem to be drawn to her calm, kind nature.

This low-key girl enjoys leisurely walks and trips to the dog park, though her favorite activity is using her extra-sensitive nose to sniff and explore the world around her. Ginger is fond of little dogs and tends to be more timid around larger ones.

She is housebroken, though she may have an accident from time to time as she gets older. She’s afraid of storms, but with some comfort and reassurance, she settles down. Ginger is not food aggressive, though she can get a little pushy when it comes to treats—her favorite part of the day.

Most of the time, Ginger can be found snoozing, but in the evenings she perks up and enjoys watching her surroundings and keeping busy in her own quiet way.

Ginger is a sweet, steady companion who would thrive in a calm home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love.

To meet this sweetie, submit an application here - www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application or you can send inquiries to our adoptions team at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com

Ginger is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
