Story & background:

Ginger is a rescue from Mexico. She is a rare to find breed (Labradoodle mix). A volunteer rescued before the Pandemic has started when she was there for a vacation. Ginger was found roaming a busy fish market in Tijuana. She was found eating the left overs of fish remains. Our volunteer fill in love with Ginger and decided to come closer to her. Immediately, Ginger ran away with sounds of fear. It took our volunteer 2 hours chasing after her until she located her between two fish carts and managed to capture her. Our volunteer spent two weeks of vacation in Mexico with Ginger. She discovered that Ginger was traumatized from the sad life she lived in the streets. She seemed to be scared of people. Nevertheless, she was super loving and super cuddly with our volunteer. In a vet office in TJ, Ginger got spayed before crossing the border to the US when our volunteer finished her vacation in Mexico. Ginger was received by PetEmber the same day she crossed the border, she received all the required core vaccines she needed, got dewormed, and received flea and tick medication here in Loma Linda, CA. Recently, Ginger received her Rabies shot. She is playful, cuddly, exceptionally smart and fast to learn. Our foster has potty trained her and crate trained her. She gets along with smaller and larger breeds of dogs. She walks very well on a leash. She does not like to be chased after as she gets scared. She needs to be always on a leash or a harness. She walks perfectly next to her dog walker and she likes to smell around. She likes to be fed after being walked. She always eats inside her crate. Please consider giving Ginger a home. She is so sweet and a rare to find breed.

PetEmber Animal Rescue is a California 501 (C) (3) charitable non-profit organization that does not receive any governmental funding and relies only on the donations of the public to help provide urgent care for abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and puppies. Also PetEmber helps Spay/neuter dogs in low income areas of the Inland Empire. All donations are tax-deductible. Our rescue is in continuous improvement and we strive to cope with all the technologies of the era to help provide better services to our customers and better care for our rescued dogs. When adopting a dog from PetEmber, you receive a well-rounded healthy dog that is up to date on all vaccines since all proceeds are directed to provide a supreme veterinarian care, nutrition, and training for the dogs we have. These proceeds are also used to help care for other senior, disabled, or hard to adopt dogs due to behavioral issues.
At the time of the adoption, the adopter receives a complete health record for his/her adopted dog on site. Necessary paperwork such as the rabies certificate, Spay/neuter certificate, vaccination record, and a copy of the adoption agreement are all handed to the adopter at the time of the adoption. These documents help the adopters in the process of licensing the dog or registering the dog as an emotional support animal (ESA). All dogs posted for adoption are 100% ready for their forever homes.

If you are interested in adopting any of our adoptable dogs, we created an online adoption application that works best on google chrome browser.
