~1 year old, female, Large Mixed Breed (Mastiff, Shepherd, etc.), currently ~80lbs

Introducing Gilly! Our program welcomed Gilly from our new partners in Lyman, Wyoming, an area with limited shelter resources resulting in the unfortunate need to euthanize dogs due to space constraints. Upon receiving a request for assistance with a few dogs, we were pleased to establish new partnerships and help alleviate some of the kennel crowding. Enter Gilly! This lovable giant puppy was discovered as a stray in a Lyman yard and was never reclaimed, leaving her in need of a way out of the shelter. At full size, Gilly is expected to weigh around 100lbs and requires some training to refine her manners, particularly because of her large size. While she has plenty of puppy energy, we are still determining the ideal home environment for her.

To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
