Meet Gilbert
Gilbert was found as a stray in rough shape earlier this year. He had ear and skin infections, was underweight, and heartworm positive. He recently completed his heartworm treatment and is ready to find his forever home! Gilbert is estimated to be around 8 years old, though he acts younger. He is a sweet boy that does well with people, other dogs, and cats! Gilbert loves to chew on bones, does great on car rides, and walks well on leash. He is your typical shepherd that is eager to learn and picks up training quickly. Gilbert doesn’t love his crate but he tolerates it, though his foster mom doesn’t think he needs it. He hasn’t been around young children and at times can be clumsy, so school age children maybe best. Gilbert is overall a lovely boy who deserves the best home!
