Hi! My name is Gigi! I'm also getting used to being called "Gigi-Pie" by my 3 year old human foster sister.

What I thought was the worst and most confusing day of my life recently turned out to be pretty great. I was surrendered by the only family I had ever known, and I was so confused about what I had done to deserve it. I spent a few days down in the dumps, very unsure about where I was and whether it was safe there.

Well, it turns out foster care is a pretty good place to be! I love these people and the other bulldogs in the family so much already! I have been coming out of my shell as I've pretty quickly realized I am safe and loved more than I've ever been loved before. They tell me ALL THE TIME what a good girl I am and how much they love me. Who knew that was even possible? I sure didn't!

I'm 5 1/2 years young, but I often act like a puppy. They think I'm making up for lost time, which is probably true. My foster mama calls me a clown, which I can't deny. I love toys, I love kids, and I love my bulldog brother and sister! I love everything and everyone! I do get into a bit of mischief once in awhile, and I'm "classic Bulldog" (whatever that means) when it comes to my stubbornness, but I'm just trying to keep everyone on their toes. Someone's gotta do it. One thing that continues to make everyone laugh is the way my tongue is almost always sticking out of my mouth. My underbite is rather impressive and the tongue just seems to have a mind of its own! Oh, and I can snore with the best of 'em, let me tell ya. I'm small but mighty when it comes to that.

I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and healthy. I do have a tight corkscrew tail but with regular care and monitoring, I shouldn't need to have it removed. I'm about 50 pounds and built like a sturdy meatball. Losing a few pounds might be in my best interest, but let's not talk about that right now.

I don't think I'll be in foster care long since I'm so lovable and special, at least according to my foster family that's true. I hope you'll fill out an app to adopt me! In the meantime, I'll be tugging on dishtowels and carrying around random objects in case I decide I want something to chew on.
