He also enjoys soaking up the sunshine outside and happily accepts any treat offered his way.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is shy and nervous at first, especially around new people, but once he bonds with someone, he attaches his heart completely. He may whine when his favorite person leaves the room, not out of mischief, but because he feels safest near those he trusts. He has done well with kids, 10 & 12yo, and dogs of all sizes!<br/><br/>Gidget has a low energy level and prefers calm environments where he can nap, snuggle, and simply be close to you. He does well with the resident cat and enjoys quiet company. He loves affection, pets, and being held — he’s truly a lap dog through and through.<br/><br/>He’ll sit for treats, is mostly house-trained (with occasional overnight accidents), and while he hasn’t tried crate training yet, he thrives with gentle routines and reassurance.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a soft, sensitive companion who wants nothing more than to be your little shadow, Gidget might just be your perfect match.
