Gidget 2's Story

*Name: Gidget 2

*Age: 1 year old

*Current Weight: 48 lbs

*Rescued from: Texas (currently located with foster in Texas, transport will be scheduled once adopted.)

*Adoption fee: $475

*Health: up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped

*Adoption requirements: adopter must be 25 or older, physically fenced in yard

Meet our girl Gidget!! Gidget says not to overlook her because she's different. Gidget is a tripod who had to have her front leg amputated due to a bad break but it doesn't stop her! She is approx 18 months old. She has one gorgeous blue eye and one deep brown eye and weighs 48 pounds. Gidget is dog friendly and loves people and kids of all ages. She plays so well with all of the fosters dogs as well as the neighbors dog. She came to SNARR not knowing much of anything and now is crate trained, house broke, knows sit, stay and is working on longer stays and a few other fun things because she loves learning. Gidget loves walking and walks well on a leash too. She is a good candidate for some low level agility or rally obediencethere's not much this girl isn't willing to try. She does need a fenced in yard. She is also obedient to verbal correction and is submissive to our other dogs. Gidget would make the perfect addition to any family, could that be you??

To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/

FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING

All adoption fees are non-refundable

If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals.

Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing:

LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records.

SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. **

MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors.

APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application.
