Gibson Hound Mix Houston, TX

Hi! My name is Gibson.

I am a 55lb goofy 2-year-old pup who will be your loyal friend for life! I was found all alone in the woods by my foster dad, so I am learning a bit about how to be a dog. I just want a family to call my own. I don’t bark a lot, only at the occasional walker-by and then only if my foster dog-sisters do. I am extremely curious and will be your shadow if you let me! I love to go for car rides, anywhere anytime. Let’s go!!! I want to play but need to be shown the ropes by some other dogs. My foster sisters are teaching me a little bit, but they are older and not up for much playing. I love to go out for walking sniffaris (and do great on a leash only pull if I smell food) or I am just as happy chilling on the couch with my head or paw in your lap. I haven’t been around kids much but I am a silly gentle pup so I am sure I can be taught. I am mostly potty trained (I have an occasional accident- I mean I did grow up in the woods), but I am crate trained and love my safe space! Basically, I am a happy go lucky dog who just needs some love and attention- oh and the occasional treat! Did I mention…. I loooooove treats! Don’t you have a little room for me? I don’t need much space in your home, only your heart.
