Gibson Great Dane Bonneau, SC

Please welcome Gibson to the Water’s Edge Great Dane family. Gibson came to the rescue a couple of months ago, and has been spending a lot of time with his foster family. He is about 10 months old. When “Gibby” came to the rescue, he was pretty beat up. He had several scars physically and emotionally. He has been working hard on building trust with his foster family and foster Dane brothers and sisters. Now that he knows people are pretty cool, he loves to give big nose bumps, also known as “Bonks”. He loves running and playing with his foster Dane pals. His powerful legs propel him high and far in the air, so watch out when he gets excited! He still is most comfortable in his house with his family, but is working on trusting others. He has never shown aggression, when he gets scared he simply turns into a 100-pound puddle pancake. Gibson would be best in a home with other dogs, and with a family that can help him continue to navigate his trust problem. He also likes cats so much that he will follow them around all day. If your kitty is insecure, he may not be the best pal. He loves cuddling in the bed at night, and spending time with you during the day.
