Meet Gibbs, a social and energetic 4 month Lab mix pup. Gibbs is a large breed pup and won’t stay small for long, we estimate him to grow to about 60 lbs when fully grown. He is crate trained and learning his manners from his foster Mom. Gibbs gets along well with dogs and cats and has a knack for melting your heart with his cuddling and kisses. Gibbs loves napping on the couch and hanging out next to you on the bed, couch or outside in the back yard. He loves to play with a rope toy and tennis balls. His favorite pass time is to nap underneath his foster Moms desk while she works from home.
He is active and does chew on anything within his reach. So keep plenty of chew toys in his view and he will keep himself entertained. Gibbs loves sitting on the edge of the couch and looking out the window something he pick up from the cat. If you are interested in a loving, charming and best friend Gibbs is the pup. As he is still a young pup, housetraining is an ongoing process, he still needs to be watched as he does not always tell you he needs to go.
Gibbs is looking for an active family, with or without kids, but with one or more other dogs of similar size and energy to keep him entertained and exercised. He will need time and patience for house and leash and general training, like all pups do, and is not yet old enough to be able to be alone for a full work day.
