Giada Shih Tzu & Poodle Mix Charlotte, NC

Giada is a nine year old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. She came from a breeder who did not socialize her, so she is very shy and will need more socializing work done. She is very sweet girl and mostly house trained. She needs a home without young children and if there are children only ones over 12 years of age (she is scared of younger children). She also needs dog companionship and thus needs a home that already has another dog. She is crated trained and loves her crate. Her foster family says that she has been a very easy foster dog.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
