GHOST's Story

Meet Ghost — Your Adventure Buddy With a Heart of Gold!

Ghost is a gorgeous 1-year-old pup who recently went on a Doggie Day Out hiking adventure, and he absolutely shined! This sweet boy is the perfect mix of curious explorer, playful goofball, and snuggly companion.

On the trail, Ghost was a total gentleman. He calmly observed kids, hikers, and passersby with his big, curious eyes and never showed any negative reactions. In fact, he loves people, several hikers stopped to admire his stunning looks, and Ghost happily wagged his tail and soaked up the attention. He’s affectionate, friendly, and always ready to make new friends.

Ghost walks well on leash and has a great on/off switch. One minute he’s calmly taking in the scenery, and the next he’s ready to play, bounce around, and show off his silly side. He may jump up when excited, but it’s all in good fun. He’s also very smart. he already knows “sit” and “no,” and he’s extremely treat-motivated.

In the car, Ghost was a dream passenger. He relaxed, looked out the window, yawned, and drifted right off to sleep. After about 40 minutes of hiking he did get tired, took a little break, enjoyed some treats and water, and was ready to continue his adventure. Once back in the car, he happily snoozed again, especially after enjoying a pup cup!

Ghost is generally curious around other dogs, though he may react if a smaller dog barks at him first. With slow introductions and continued positive experiences, he’ll keep learning his dog-dog manners.

This beautiful pup is still very much a puppy at heart. He loves cuddles, pets, exploring, and being near his people. Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a playful pal, or a snuggle partner for lazy afternoons, Ghost is ready to be all of the above.

If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, and adventurous young dog, Ghost just might be your perfect match. Come meet this handsome boy today! Ghost's adoption fee has been paid for with a donation from Tim Pantle
