GERTIE is a sweet, 5 month old hound mix (as of 7/14/23).

Words to describe GERTIE are smart, adventurous, affectionate, sweet and funny. GERTIE is a 5 month old girl who loves to play with her foster dog siblings, go to the farmers market to get lots of love and attention, and cuddle everyone who comes to visit her. She is such a good girl on a leash, is wonderful about going in and sleeping in her crate, great in the car, and up for any and all adventures she is taken on. GERTIE would be great in a home with another dog, or as the only dog getting all the love. She loves everyone she meets, and would love to meet you!! Might she be the perfect addition to your family?

This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives.

Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. Puppies nine months of age or younger are able to be adopted into households with young children ages 4 and older. We do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.
