GERTIE We challenge you to spend time with Gertie and not become completely smitten with her.... it's impossible! Our five-year-old girl loves to sleep on anything soft and cozy, unless it is time to sun herself then she'll lounge anywhere to catch some rays! Gertie loves to be with a friend for cuddles and pets. She is eager to please and has entertained the volunteers by following along through our agility equipment without much coaxing, even going through the tunnels and over the ramps. Gertie likes her treats and takes them gently with her big soft muzzle. It is hard not to be moved by her beautiful big eyes and adoring looks. Gertie is such a love bug! We think she is the perfect mix of couch potato and relaxed adventure buddy. Everyone has a different idea of what an adventure buddy might be. Gertie's favorite adventure might be a relaxed exploration of somewhere new - a different neighborhood, a field, a river bar - that she can thoroughly sniff and take in all the information that is in the scents left there. Gertie is spayed, micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and weighs 80 pounds.
