?Gerard is a really sweet and loving boy with your typical Great Pyrenees personality. He is very loving but can also be very stubborn if you try to get him to come inside before he’s ready. He loves to spend his time relaxing outside alone and guarding the yard against any squirrels or playing chase with other dogs. He will come inside throughout the day to check in, give you his big puppy dog eyes and get some head scratches. Some evenings he will even relax in the living room with you if he’s not to busy enjoying the weather. Gerard would do great as an only but also with siblings to play with. He gets along with other dogs great as long as they don’t start a fight with him because he will definitely stick up for himself if he needs to. He loves getting out of the house to go on walks, and hikes, or even keeping you company at your local dog-friendly brewery.
He jumps in the car very easily and loves sticking his head out the window on car rides! If you’re looking for a sweet chill boy to keep you company, Gerard is your guy!?

Hey guys, long time no see! I first entered the rescue two years ago after I found myself homeless and in need of a place to go. Thankfully this rescue was able to take me, and it only took a week for my foster mom to decide that I was staying with her! Things were great at first, but as time went by one of her household dogs started getting annoyed with me and has gone after me a few times. I am never the instigator but I will defend myself. Due to the increased tension between us, my owner has decided it would be best that I be rehomed to a family where everyone loves me. So, with a heavy heart, she surrendered me back to rescue.

I am bummed that I have once again found myself homeless, but I am excited for the adventure. I have always loved adventure, and I am excited to see who my forever family will turn out to be and the memories we will make! I am a 3.5-year-old, 98lb male Great Pyrenees mix and I am ready to steal your heart! ♥

I am the kind of guy that loves going places with my family. Be it to the lake, hiking, pet-friendly places, on road trips, etc. I am always up for an adventure and spending time with my people. When it comes to meeting people, I am both friendly and calm. I do occasionally jump on people, but only on rare occasions. I do well when meeting dogs when we are out and about as well. I love going on walks, and would absolutely love going on hikes with my new family. I also love car rides and do well on them!

I am good with other dogs. I believe I would be happy in a home with or without dogs. I do engage in some light playing with them from time to time, but also spend a good amount of time on my own just chilling. I am not currently being fostered around cats, so I cannot say for sure how I would do with them. I have been around older kiddos and do well with them. I am not sure how I would do around really young kids though.

I am a pretty chill and calm guy. I love relaxing outside but will also happily do so inside as well. I can be playful outside and am usually pretty chill in the house. I am potty trained but have no experience being kenneled. When my foster is away, I am given free-roam of the house with access to the outside with a doggie door and do well. I am not a destructive chewer and have not gotten into anything that I shouldn't. I am not a huge barker, but I will sometimes bark at the squirrels that taunt me or people walking by the house. Given my love for just lounging outside when the weather is nice, I do not think I would be happy in an apartment setting.

My ideal family would

-Have a doggie door.
-Take me places with them
-Would take me places with them.
-Would be okay with me being on the more independent side and being the one to come to you when I want attention.
-Will keep me forever and ever (none of that until stuff with me. If you adopt me, it should be furever! ? )

I am currently residing in Tulsa, OK. If you have fallen in love with me and are out of state, how about a road trip? I won't go on a long transport, so the only way I am relocating to another state...is if we are in that car together ?

My adoption fee is $250.
That will include my DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. I will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
