Georgina is a 5-month-old pittie mix with innocent eyes that say she would never do a single thing wrong, ever. She came to us through Animal Control with an injury on her neck, but it didn’t stop her from being the sweetest, most lovable, doe-eyed gal around.

Of course, she’s also a puppy, which means she has all the puppy behaviors like nipping and jumping that will need to be trained out of her. This should be easy with her because she’s very smart and catches on quickly. She’s a great candidate for agility. She already knows “sit” and “bed” and she is learning to walk well on a leash. She’s also working on her potty-training and on getting more comfortable in her crate.

She loves dogs of all size and is fine with cats. However, because she is so young, she tends to be in their faces and overly rambunctious. If placed in a home with cats, they’ll need to be dog-savvy cats who aren’t afraid of a dopey puppy.

Since she is still in the puppy stage, it might be best to avoid a home with very small children lest she nip too hard. However, her puppy behaviors will pass with training and as long as everyone is supervised when together and the children are respectful, Georgina can thrive in any home.
