Meet Georgia

Miss Georgia Peach, as her foster mom refers to her! This little lady will steal your heart and your treats! Georgia is around 10 months old, 35 pounds, and the life of the party. She became a Misfit after finding herself at our partner shelter sick with parvo. She is now healthy, super happy and ready to find her furvever family! Georgia is spayed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!

Georgia is the best little sidekick…she’s all puppy but loves being with her people, probably because she always thinks she deserves a treat. She lives to eat and will make sure her foster mom knows when dinner is just a few seconds late. Georgia loves doing all things puppy – romping with her foster siblings, chasing a ball and taking a good nap. She’s a vocal girl when playing, but her foster mom thinks it’s because she’s smaller than the others and needs to make sure her presence is known!

Georgia lives with foster siblings of all sizes and ages and loves everyone. Georgia would do great in an active home that loves to go on adventures. She is still young and will need work learning some of her basic puppy manners, but she is very treat motivated and loves to be told how good of a girl she is. Georgia also lives with cats and is learning that cats don’t want to play like dogs. She’s doing well on learning her cat boundaries. She hasn’t lived with children, but being an energetic bouncy girl, she may knock down small children. For that reason, she would do best in a home with older kids that are able to help teach her that jumping is not acceptable.

Georgia is house and kennel trained. Georgia thinks everyone is her best friend and hasn’t met a stranger yet. After having such a rough start to her life, we want Georgia to find a family that understands puppies need patience, they are valued members of the family and adoption is forever!
