Meet George & Mae Mae - A Bonded Pair Looking for a Quiet, Loving Home
George and Mae Mae have been through a lot together, and now they're looking for a soft place to land - together. These Beagle/Jack Russell mixes were surrendered to us by a loving owner who fell on hard times. It was no fault of their own, and their world turned upside down overnight.
At about 10 years old, George is a calm, sweet old soul. He's neutered, gentle, and incredibly loving. One look into his big, soulful eyes and your heart will just melt. He's Mae Mae's rock, her emotional support buddy and he takes that job very seriously.
Mae Mae is shy and very skittish, but when she's outside with George, you can see her come alive. She loves the outdoors and having the freedom to explore in a calm, safe space. We believe that with a quiet home and a few weeks of patience, she'll blossom into a completely different dog. She just needs time, consistency, and lots of love.
These two have always lived indoors, and weren't given much opportunity to go outside, so potty training might take a little time. They do pretty good considering. They are both so gentle, affectionate, and deserving of a second chance.
We're looking for a foster or adopter who can give George and Mae Mae the peace, routine, and yard space they need to thrive. Ideally, a quiet home with no young kids, a fenced yard for Mae Mae to explore, or someone who will take them on daily walks in a quiet neighborhood and someone who understands that the best things in life often take a little time.
They only have each other right now, will you be the one to give them a home they can finally call their own?
