George American Bulldog Mix Woburn, MA

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet George - a 3 year old, American Bulldog mix (and maybe part potato), who weighs 60 pounds (as of 10/7/24). George was found with 2 other pups as strays. We scooped up these 3 and brought them into our care, and now they're all ready to find their forever homes! He is the happiest boy who has so much love to give.

His foster shares: "George is an absolute chonk!!! This boy is filled with so much love, kisses, and wiggles. This guy is so funny and makes friends wherever he goes! He is a velcro dog and will be the most loyal companion. He loves sitting by his humans and will stare at you with so much love. He ADORES his people, and loves playing with other pups. He'd be so excited to join a family that already has a resident dog so he can have a built in BFF, but he would also thrive as the only dog in your family, too! He is housebroken and very attention motivated which is helpful with training (although he is already very well mannered). George is an amazing boy who is looking for a family to love!”

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
