Gentle Gordito Anatolian Shepherd & Basset Hound Mix Randolph, MA

Gordito has quite the story, we rescued him and his family on the side of the street in Maunabo Puerto Rico. The family of strays lived outside of a family home and Gordito had been hit by a car on multiple occasions according to the “supposed” owner. His entire head was full of maggots and his private area was exposed and dragging on the ground due to the last car accident. His girlfriend and children have all been adopted (one puppy did pass away from parvo ?) and Gordito had 3 reconstructive surgeries to his private part and is now completely healed. He is such a humble soul and although a tad shy his foster and vets office says he warms up slowly. At about 4 years old and 31 pounds, he is quite the low rider Shepard/Basset mix. He enjoys the dogs and cat in his foster home and loves the fenced backyard.
Gordito deserves the best for the rest of his life. Households with children over 12 would be ideal due to his tendency to be shy at first.
